The Battle for Fiara is a series of events taking place during the year 8 following the Convocation. It follows the adventures of a rune warrior called the Phoenix Bearer as she fights alongside the Order of Dawn to stop the ploys of a mysterious figure known as the Dark One.

Its events are depicted in the game SpellForce: The Order of Dawn.

Timeline

The Battle for Fiara takes place in the year 8 A.C. (after the Convocation). The largest event preceding it is the Covnocation, while it's followed by the Aryn Crisis.

Chronological Timeline

Many notable events happened during the Battle for Fiara, some of which would be pivotal in shaping the future of Eo. Below is a list of the most notable ones in chronological order.

The Dark One begins funding the Black Fist: The Black Fist, a mercenary organization bolstered by funds, begins destabilizing the Northlands.

Rohen summons the Phoenix Bearer: To combat the growing threat, Rohen Tahir, a surviving Circle Mage summons a Rune Warrior.

Blades first appear in Nortander: Iron Ones, elite soldiers of the Dark One, reach the Northlands via the Wildland Pass

Defeat of the Black Fist: The Phoenix Bearer decimates the Black Fist and its leader while attempting to reach Rohen.

Rohen Tahir's death: Rohen Tahir is killed after being ambushed by the Dark One at the Frost Marshes

The Phoenix Bearer's deal with Hokan Ashir: In need of information, the Phoenix Bearer returns the fractured Mask of Belial to the spirit of the deceased Circle Mage Hokan Ashir in Whisper.

Defeat of the Briarwolves: While searching for the Phoenix Stone, the Phoenix Bearer engages and defeats a mercenary group known as the Briarwolves, securing the livelihood of the Red Legion in the process.

The Phoenix Bearer retrieves the Phoenix: Searching for a weapon able to stop the Dark One, the Phoenix Bearer retrieves the Phoenix Stone from the archives of Mulandir.

Annihilation of the Order of Dawn: In an attempt to pave the way into the heart of the enemy, the Order of Dawn musters all its forces to break the blockade of Blades at the Frost Marshes. They succeed, yet their ranks are decimated as a result.

Death of Sartarius: Sartarius, master of the Order of Dawn, is killed by the Dark One in the Southern Godmark.

Defeat of the Soulforger: The Phoenix Bearer defeats the Soulforger, the mightiest being under the Dark One's control, responsible for creating his Blade armies.

The Dark One completes his time portal: Unable to be stopped, the Dark One achieves his plan of creating a portal through time andstepping through it. The Battle for Fiara ends.

The majority of the Battle for Fiara takes place on Fiara in the regions of Nortander and the Darklands. The final battles take place on Urgath.
