The expansion improves the original gameplay and introduces a new faction and campaign but it was criticized due feeling "unfinished" overall. The story takes place in the aftermath of the Shadow Wars and follows a former Rune Warrior turned Shaikan who is searching for the Soul Carrier, the protagonist of the main game, while her world falls apart. |
