Suspicious Figure

During the Trial of Zerbo on The Stepping Stones, you have to sneak through a town avoiding the guards patrolling it.
Amongst other curious figures, you'll meet the Suspicious Figure.
If you're playing for the achievements Difficulty courts and/or Berserker thief, give 100 gold to the Suspicious Figure to buy the Mace of the Guardian from him.
You need this mace to win the two achievements later.
You can also give the stolen apple to the man, and he will make the barrel explode while you go hiding in the corner.
While the guards are running to the barrel, and then after the Suspicious Figure, you can make your way just north of the cages that have blood all around them and wait for the next passing guard.
Then sneak your way to the exit.
Trivia
According to the game files, the Suspicious Figure is suppose to be Zerbo itself pranking his own guards and/or any traveler that attempt to pass his trial.
