Tombard was the brother of Adhira living in the village of the outskirts of the city Greyfell.

Tombard was a simple minded fellow, often harassed and made fun of by others due to being somewhat intellectually challenged. He first caught the attention of the Phoenix Bearer after Adhira, Tombards sister living in Greyfell, tasked her with collecting the ingredients for a potion that would make Tombard the greatest of all heroes.
The Phoenix Bearer helped prepare the potion, but upon drinking it, Tombard flew into an uncontrolled frenzy and attacked the Rune Warrior, sealing his end.
It's unknown whether Adhira knew her potion would have this effect on her brother, though it seems likely that she genuinely wanted to help him considering they are related.
Trivia
- Once slain, Tombard drops the Blade of Light, which is amongst the best weapons in SpellForce: The Order of Dawn
- If you play on low difficulty and don't assist the farmers during the cave orc attack on the village during the quest To Greyfell, Tombard will die and drop the Blade of Light. This will, however, make the "Blood" quest impossible to complete.
