Orthanc is a is a skilled blacksmith from Greyfell who appears in SpellForce: The Order of Dawn
Biography
A proficient blacksmith, Orthanc is experienced with crafting all kinds of weapons and armor from even the most rare and exotic materials. He himself refers to his creations as "tools of death" and remarked that what he deals in is different from the run-of-the-mill weapons one can buy at the market.
He assisted the Phoenix Bearer on multiple occasions by crafting requisite weapons and armors for her.
Soulstones
During their first encounter, Orthanc told the Rune Warrior of a special type of weapon that can be created using Soulstones of the Undead. Though they are rare and were difficult to obtain, the Phoenix Bearer managed to obtain the five Soulstones in the Darklands that were necessary for him to craft an exquisite weapon that he then gave to her.
Dragon Armor
Though he doesn't do it as often as he used to, Orthanc is also able to craft excellent armor. One such piece dragon Armor that he crafted out of the scales of the dragon Fyrmir who the Phoenix Bearer had slain prior. Same as with the Soul Weapon, he gave the armor to the Phoenix Bearer upon completion.
Amra and Lea
Years ago, Orthanc (together with his then apprentice Sunder Blackhand) worked on the legendary piece of armor made of pure moonsilver for Amra. During her search for it, the Phoenix Bearer came to see Orthanc to ask about any leads as to the armor's current whereabouts.
