- Vampires are strong, yet they number few and thus always look for ways to add to their cult-like following. Using promises of unfathomable power, they lure impressionable or desperate individuals to their hideouts inside thick forests or mountain caves, only to feed their bodies with the life essence of wildlife creatures until they are addicted to them. The Acolytes aren’t full vampires yet, but their seniors often use them to gather ever-increasing amounts of blood they need to sustain their hunger. Retaining a lot of their mortal appearance, they travel in groups searching for isolated victims to bring back to their masters.
