It is quite uncommon for Orcs to follow the orders of a Human, but it is not unheard of. One such example were the Grarg Orcs from the Echo Swamps, acting under the command of a crazed mage by the name of Whorim. It's unknown why they followed him, though it allowed them to grow into a force to be reckoned with... that is, until they, too, were conquered by the power of the rune.
However, until then, their community was undoubtedly thriving. They had the entirety of the Echo Swamps in their grasp, and much like their brothers from Mirraw Thur, they used slaves to do their bidding. Their rule certainly left a mark in this place, and though they may have been driven out, it is more than likely that they will one day return to reclaim it.
