Spectres

A spectre is born from the vortex of negative emotions. Hate, chaos, anger: emotions that rule the realm of the dead blend into a creature of hundreds of tormented souls. They roam the world like a nightmare, inflicting unimaginable suffering and destruction upon the living. Thankfully, their numbers remain few, but that hasn't stopped sinister mages from seeking them out to fulfil their own dark desires, using them to crush their foes with forces beyond comprehension. Perhaps most frighteningly, they devour the souls of those too weak to control them, further fuelling their unstoppable rage.
