Ortah Gelfbeard is an old war veteran turned merchant and collector of old valuables living in Liannon.
Biography
Before the Convocation, Ortah served in the army, where he fought many battles in the Convocation Wars. Lucky enough to survive the cataclysm, he chose to retire to a calmer life as a merchant on the small island of Liannon where he collects all sorts of old treasures.
His experience led to him being known locally as an expert on war memorabilia, which proved handy when he was approached by the Phoenix Bearer regarding a ring she retrieved from an old ghost that had made Liannon's mine its home. Ortah was quick to recognise the ring as a trademark of Udwin's fellowship.
