Hollowed Guard

Amongst the forces of the undead, there are those whose souls are filled with such hate that they crystalise into gems filled with the rage of the fallen, known as souls-stones. Powerful Necromancers have once found ways to summon such beings from the brinks of the river of souls, encasing their rotten bodies into thick armour and using them as executors of their will. Even the Purity of Light, adversaries of all magic, summoned them into their ranks, providing them with enchanted weapons and armour, sending them to further their cause. Today, the remains of their order employ the very same undead to assert their power. Like fortresses, they follow their armies, fighting relentlessly until their soul stones have been shattered and their souls returned to the Mor Duine.
