- A mage can hardly demand the respect of his peers without minions to prove his worth. Such creatures are often one of the earliest steppingstones in an apprentice’s attempt to rise the ranks and as his power increases, so does the number of minions under his command. There exist various kinds, often catering to the young mage’s abilities and magic of choosing. Their simple means of summoning and low upkeep make them perfect for daily, mundane tasks, or, in less desirable times, as cannon fodder for the spells and projectiles of an enemy.
