- During the dark times of the War of the Six Races, the humans in territories occupied by the Dark Ones found themselves in despair, their backs mercilessly pushed against the wall. With no armour, training, or forged weapons to speak of, they devised plans to sabotage the enemies' supplies. Arming themselves with torches and dressed in light robes for quick movement, they used the cover of the night to rain fire on the encampments of Orcs, Trolls and the Norcaine, retreating into the darkness of the forests soon thereafter, avoiding losses and leaving their foes none the wiser. This strategy proved very effective, and due to its ease of execution, many human kingdoms, especially in the Highmark, kept it as a last resort in the battles to come, showing that you can never truly break the spirit of their people.
