Eons ago, strange creatures from outside of [[Eo]] suddenly appeared in this world. They were gruesome and bellicose, and [[the Guardians]] did not take kindly to their presence, for [[Aonir]]'s rules forbade alien creatures from entering. So, the Gods struck these strangers down, however, as they were foreign, [[Hirin, the Rider|Hirin]] refused to take their souls to the [[Mor Duine]], instead, leaving them neither alive nor dead, doomed to roam the walls of the <span style="color:#ec6">City of Souls</span> for eternity.
