Once a fortress of the legendary Iron Falcons, the Howling Mounds today are but a shell of their former self. All who dare venture there swiftly meet their end at the rusty blades of the gray horde, with only the dead able to hear their screams.
The ruins of the fortress of the Falcons served as the bastion of Korshar, the Bone Crusher, one of Hokan's mightiest servants. From there, he commanded the undead hordes in search of the Mask of Belial, Hokan's most prized possession, throwing the surrounding lands into discord and disarray.
