It may be that he was familiar with the [[The Circle|Circle Mage]] [[Rohen Tahir]], as well as someone possessing a great deal of experience in life and politics, given that he was able to assume his position of Headmaster of the Order not long after its inception.<br /> <br /> ==Battle for Fiara==<br /> The Phoenix Bearer first sought out Sartarius on the advice of Rohen. He was to help her find a foothold after years of slumber inside her rune, though their first meeting occurred more urgently than what both may have hoped for. Upon arrival, he was promptly presented with a casket the Phoenix Bearer had acquired on her way to the city, a casket supposedly containing military intelligence meant for the leaders of the [[Black First]], an organisation that had recently started stirring up trouble for the Order.<br /> <br /> Though they tried to open it, they weren&#039;t able to break the spell that held it shut, forcing Sartarius to send the Phoenix Bearer on her first task as a member of the order: bringing the casket to Rohen Tahir, as he was the only one capable of opening it.
