However, despite its impressive fortifications, the Darkwall did fall in the year 10 A.C. to the forces of the [[Shadow Warrior|Rune]], and its occupants, the [[Dark Elves|Norcaine]], were temporarily driven out of this place. But even with them gone, anyone wishing to cross this plain should rethink their decision, for should they not, the clubs of the local [[Trolls]] might do it for them.
