			The Godstones were created after Aonir, the God of Stars, tamed the wild elements ravaging across Eo. Though he had put a spell on the Primal Elements, causing them to fall into a deep slumber deep below Eo's surface, his children, the [[Gods\|Guardians]], whom he had called to watch over his work, were worried that, without his pressence, the Elements may awake once more. To prevent that, Aonir formed a blade-like mountain that he used to pierce his side. Drops of his divine blood fell onto Eo, and as they did, they hardened into crystals, ensuring that a fraction of his power remained on Eo, even after he returns to his home beyond the stars.
