=Biography=
How or when Celen Fell assumed the position of military leader of Liannon isn't known, though it may be attributed to her skills as a fighter, perhaps from the time of [[the Convocation]]. Nevertheless, during the [[Battle for Fiara]], she helped the [[Phoenix Bearer]] advance her search for [[Rohen Tahir]] by assisting her on her way through Liannon to [[Eloni]].

In return for her help, however, she requested that the [[Rune Warriors|Rune Warrior]] take care of a local goblin called [[Snarf]], who had been causing trouble in the region as of late. Once this part of the deal was met, she sent out a group of men to unlock the gate leading to Eloni.

Not much is known about Bart apart from his profession as Liannon's innkeeper, though he seems to have a knack for greeting visitors to the village, just like he did when the [[Phoenix Bearer]] first visited the island. The two had a small exchange, talking about the village's scribe, [[Ereon|Darius Servil]], though their conversation was short.

Bart has a son, [[Will Boggelsen]], whom he recommends to the Phoenix Bearer should she require wares.

*Though Bart had no way of knowing this, during his dialogue, he mentioned that Darius is writing what seems to be a sort of atlas about the people of Eo. This was the first clear hint in the game regarding Darius' true identity as the Guardian Ereon, who had been tasked by Aonir to note down the history of Eo.

Infamous and feared by many in the region, the sick hermit lived in isolation not far from the village afoot the city of Greyfell. The [[Phoenix Bearer]] stumbled upon the man during her adventures, after which he told her of his pain - albeit by withholding parts of the truth from her.
He begged the [[Rune Warrior]] to go to [[Shan Muir]] and bring him the [[Zirfar Potion]] to free him of his curse.

However, Shan Muir knew of the wrongdoings of the man and refused the give Zirfar Potion to the Rune Warrior, believing that once he is healed, the Hermit would return to his murderous ways. Instead, she offered a potion that would ease his pain, but wouldn't fully heal him.

Although this is never mentioned, Zarim was likely a highly ranked member of the Order judging by his armour. He spent his time close to the main quarters of the Order in Greyfell, working on repairing his crossbow, which is also how he and the [[Phoenix Bearer]] met.

Though he had little hope of finishing the work on his weapon, he ultimately succeeded after the [[Rune Warrior]] brought him a bow made from the same material which he could use for his repairs.

Zarim was also most likely involved in the Order's counter attack in the Frost Marshes and likely perished during it as [[Urias]] and [[Sartarius]] were the only survivors in the aftermath.

Upon the specter's appearance, a fight ensued which ended with the ghost of Shin Tar Guar meeting his demise.

Now facing death himself, he finally fessed up and told the Phoenix Bearer all he knew. He himself refers to his creations as "tools of death" and remarked that what he deals in is different from the run-of-the-mill weapons one can buy at the market.

Castagir and the [[Phoenix Bearer]] first met in [[Greyfell]]. Seeing that the man was frightened by something, she approached him, upon which he explained to her the Shadows and the danger they bring with them.

He urged the [[Rune Warriors|Rune Warrior]] to heed his warning and mentioned a special ring his master had once spoken of, yet lamented the fact that he took that knowledge with him to the grave.
The Phoenix Bearer later found that ring, also known as the [[Shadow Ring]], in the [[Northern Windwall Mountains]]. She showed it to Castagir, but the ring was powerless as is, hence he sent her to seek out [[Rigour Mortis]] for further guidance.

She would eventually return with the ring revived to its full power. Finally having the means to see and fight the Shadows, Castagir told her to fight them wherever she can. During one such encounter, she obtained the [[Shadow Manifesto]] which she then presented to the mage.
From the book, Castagir was able to learn how the shadows arrived on Eo and described a place in an old fortress of light. The Rune Warrior investigated this clue and eventually found a small [[Shadow Crystal]] in the [[Howling Mounds]].

Castagir researched the peculiar gem and concluded that it's likely but a fragment of something much bigger, but this was where their paths separated. As a parting gift and as proof of his research bearing fruit, he gifted the Phoenix Bearer a special belt made of silver that would allow her to use the Shadows to protect herself.

==The Eternal Song==
Years after, Castagir would once again join forces with a Rune Warrior - an individual known as [[The Messenger (Rune Warrior)|The Messenger]] - in his quest to prevent an ancient prophecy by the famous bard [[Angar Arandir]]. As the prophecy goes, the Shadows would be released and Eo would plummet into an eternal night.

Castagir worked together with the Rune Warrior and [[Nightsong]] to decipher the clues of said prophecy, yet they failed to realise that they were fulfilling it in the process, eventually granting the Shadows access to Eo and paving the way for the events of the [[Shadow Wars]] in the future.

When Hokan came back he was not the same man who entered the temple, neither mentally nor magically. He betrayed his former allies and almost single-handedly wiped out the entire order of the Zerbites. Hokan aimed to steal their secrets and succeeded to a degree, but before he could steal them all, the [[Zerbites]] filled their fortresses with traps and puzzles which this act caused them to be trapped within their own fortress and starve to death, but this was something they preferred over handing their secrets to him. He fought and defeated [[Anktahr]] in a duel but soon realized the duel was nothing more than a delaying tactic for the other [[zerbites]] to arm the traps of their fortress. Hokan tried infiltrating their fortresses but was unsuccessful and eventually gave up. The furious magician unleashed his anger on his former mentor and made him a [[Rune Warriors|Rune Warrior]]. Around the year 400 B.C., some members of the Circle, including Hokan, came into small-scale conflicts with a mage who would eventually join them as their 13th and final member, [[The Piper]]. Hokan revealed that [[Soul Forger]]'s destruction would disable the other blades and that the Rune Warrior would require an artefact known as the [[Phoenix Stone]], which was likely still stored in the archives of [[Mulandir]], to stand a chance against the Dark One.

Before settling down as a modest fisher in [[Liannon]], Tyrgar was once a friend of Amra, with whom he departed on his quest to avenge the death of Amra's lover, [[Lea Muir]]. However, as Amra became more and more unhinged in his search for her killer, Tyrgar, together with others, urged him to give up on his revenge, as they believed the [[Dark One|mage]] they were seeking was too powerful.

Upon arrival, he was promptly presented with a casket the Phoenix Bearer had acquired on her way to the city, a casket supposedly containing military intelligence meant for the leaders of the [[Black Fist]], an organisation that had recently started stirring up trouble for the Order.

Though they tried to open it, they weren't able to break the spell that held it shut, forcing Sartarius to send the Phoenix Bearer on her first task as a member of the order: bringing the casket to Rohen Tahir, as he was the only one capable of opening it. Before she went on her way, however, he assisted her by giving her free passage to [[Liannon]], as well as a rune to aid her, along with filling her in on the changes that had happened in the world during her absence.

They would not meet again until after Rohen's death. Though shaken by the news, Sartarius acted calmly, showcasing his wisdom and experience. He helped the Rune Warrior make sense of Rohen's final words: she was to seek out [[Hokan Ashir]], the most powerful necromancer who had ever lived, as well as find the [[Phoenix Stone]], an artefact powerful enough to stop the [[Dark One]].

As he sent her on her way, he started preparing the Order for the war that would soon follow.

It was decided that to help the Phoenix Bearer in her mission, the Order of Dawn must enable her to break deeper behind enemy lines, which meant breaking through the blockade of the [[Blades]] at the [[Frost Marshes]]. To that end, he commanded the Order of Dawn to send every soldier, every warrior and mage to the frontlines. Once face to face with the iron horrors, the battle commenced. They fought hard, managing to break through their initial ranks, though that would be far from the of their struggle As they pushed further inland, the stream of the Blades would not falter, inflicting heavy losses, yet they persisted further, only faltering to the perennial horror once nearing the portal to the [[Southern Godmark]]. Once the dust had settled, they had lost, and most of their members lay dead in the dirt, with but a few survivors who managed to escape this fate, and Sartarius, who was captive to be used as bait. Nevertheless, their mission had been a success: the blockage was broken, and the fate of Eo was now firmly in the hands of the Phoenix Bearer.

Chained up, Sartarius was brought through the portal to the Southern Godmark where he awaited the outcome of his fate. There he remained until the Phoenix Bearer broke through the enemy's onslaught. She hurried to aid him, however, and although Sartarius tried to warn her in his frail state, she wasn't able to notice that his chains had been secured by a spell. Upon striking them, they were both encased in ice as the Dark One appeared before them. Reminiscent of his confrontation with Rohen Tahir, the Dark One murdered Sartarius, sealing his fate once and for all.

In retaliation, he murdered Lea and her family, leaving only her then-absent sister, [[Shan Muir]], alive, before setting out to find Amra and bring the ring into his possession.

The two confronted each other and [[the Howling Mounds]] and after a brief battle, the Dark One slew Amra, leaving his comrades for dead as he took the Pledge of the Gods from him, disappearing from the scene. However, his victory would be short-lived, as he would soon come to realise that the ring was symbolic, holding no power inside it.

==Godstones==
Continuing his work on the [[Time Portal]], the Dark One realised that the [[Godstones]], crystals holding Aonir's power, should be a sufficient power source for the task. Though he was right in this assumption (according to the wiser Rohen Tahir), he ultimately decided on a different approach as a new opportunity presented itself during the events known as the [[Battle for Fiara]].

==Back Fist==
Not long before the year 8 after the Convocation, the Dark One decided to use his wealth and influence to support a band of mercenaries under the leadership of the war-veteran Brannigan called the [[Black Fist]]. His money allowed them to not only acquire better equipment but to also hire various Ork mercenaries, turning them from a minor annoyance in the region to a threat needing to be respected by the inhabitants of [[Nortander]].

Whether the Dark One had any long-term plans for the [[Black Fist]] is unknown, but it seems more likely that he was using them as a distraction to destabilise the region and to force [[the Order of Dawn]] to react to their increasing presence, not allowing them to work out his true plans and identity.

==Hokan's Blades==
At an unknown point after the Convocation, the Dark One ventured into the city of the dead, [[Whisper (Location)|Whisper]], to seek out the burial site of his once fellow Circle Mage [[Hokan Ashir]]. Though dead, as the most powerful necromancer of all time, Hokan managed to keep his soul bound to the world of the living, allowing the Dark One to confront and belittle him, before stealing the secret of his powerful [[Blades]].

Much like Hokan did during the Convocation Wars, the Dark One would create a [[Soulforger]], which he would then use to amass an army of the iron terrors under his command. However, he wouldn't actively use them in combat until much later during the Battle for Fiara, likely to keep them a secret from the Order of Dawn and the one person who posed a threat to his grand plan - his older self, Rohen Tahir.

=Battle for Fiara=
In the year 8 after the Convocation, the Dark One, together with a [[The Messenger| messenger]] of the Order, set out for the [[Shadow Pass]] as Rohen Tahir was about to summon the [[Phoenix Bearer]]. The messenger was tasked by the Dark One to bring a message to Rohen, after which the Circle Mage would depart for the Wildland Pass, leaving the Rune Warrior susceptible to a trap on her journey to [[Greyfell]].

High in the mountains, they were confronted by the Dark One, who froze the Phoenix Bearer in place and commanded the Messenger to end her, after which he was to bring a casket with invasion plans to the leaders of the Black Fist. Though somewhat unsure of his fighting ability, the messenger obliged, after which the Dark One departed to his next destination.

Unbeknownst to both the Messenger and Phoenix Bearer at the time, the casket the Dark One had given him was empty - fully expecting to Messenger to die to the Rune Warrior, setting in motion the next stage of his masterplan.

He lay in wait until the Phoenix Bearer had finally reached Rohen, whereupon Rohen opened the casket, setting off a spell that had been sealed within it, yet again freezing them both as the Dark One appeared in front of them. He taunted them, and ultimately killed his older self, allowing the Rune Warrior to return to the Order, believing them not to be a threat anymore, now that he had taken care of the Circle Mage standing in his path.

Sensing his victory was near, he likely returned to [[Sharrowdale]] to work on his time portal, all while preparing his Blade forces for the retaliation that was sure to come.

This retaliation came in the form of an all-out attack of the Order of Dawn, using every single one of its members to break through the Blade blockade are the [[Frost Marshes]], only to succumb to the neverending stream of Iron Ones coming to reinforce them. Most of the Order of Dawn had been defeated, with the Dark One taking its headmaster, [[Sartarius]] as prisoner, using him as bait to lure the Phoenix Bearer to him, for he knew that she had recovered the [[Phoenix Stone]] from the ruins of [[Mulandir]] - an artefact powerful enough to be used to fuel his portal.

As he expected, the Rune Warrior broke through the [[Southern Godmark]] to the place where Sartarius was being held captive. Though he tried to warn her of the trap the Dark One had set for her, it was too late: as she attempted to break Sartarius' chains, they were once again frozen by the Dark One's magic. Reminiscent of the time he killed Rohen, he slew Sartarius and took the Phoenix Stone, once again taunting the Phoenix Bearer for her failure. He then took the stone and the [[Book of the Convocation]] from her and returned to his work - leaving the Rune Warrior to be sent to the [[River of Souls]] at the claws of his Blades.

Though victory seemed within his grasp, the unexpected survival of the Phoenix Bearer caused the Dark One to employ his Soulforger to hold off her advance until his portal was complete. Once again underestimating the power of the rune, the Phoenix Bearer managed to destroy the Blade, angering the Dark One as he was to join him in the past as he was rewriting the future. Nevertheless, now face to face once more atop the obsidian mountain of Sharrow, he finally showed his true identity to the Phoenix Bearer, revealing himself to be Rohen Tahir.

In disbelief, the Phoenix Bearer had to watch powerlessly as he stepped through his portal, returning to a time at which the Convocation was yet to happen. However, though it had seemed as if he had achieved victory, upon reading the Book of the Convocation - something he thought would hold the secrets to winning the conflict - he was left puzzled by its contents.

Reading through them, he slowly began to realise the folly of his ways. He finally saw the Convocation for what it truly is: a lie, a ruse of the [[Renegades]] meant to destroy Eo. As time passed, his demeanour started to resemble that of the older Rohen he had killed in the future. Once the time of the Convocation had arrived, instead of fighting, he sought out his younger self of this time, hoping to be able to persuade himself to give up their foolish ambitions - starting the cycle of events anew. This would eventually lead them to [[Xu]] where, inside of an ancient [[Shapers|Shaper]] ruin, they discovered the [[Allfire]], essence of all magic. This discovery fascinated the Circle, and over the coming years, they began mastering this newly acquired magic. This caused both their power and lifespan to increase exponentially, making them nigh immortal and solidifying the Circle as the keepers of prosperity on Eo for centuries.

Alongside it, they also discovered runic scriptures detailing a prophecy of a day when [[Aonir|Aonir's]] hold on Eo and the [[Primal Elements]] would weaken, allowing powerful individuals to harness their immense power. However, although the Circle wasn't aware of it back then, this false prophecy, left behind by the [[Fial Darg]] at the end of the [[War of the Six Races]] would play a major role in orchestrating their downfall.

During his time in the circle, he developed a preference for [[Magic|Fire Magic]], though he would come to prefer Ice Magic later in life. He was also known for his fiery speeches in [[Mulandir]] and was present when the mercenary who would later be known as [[The Guardian]] was turned into a [[Rune Warriors|Rune Warrior]].

As the Circle's power grew, each of its members began expanding their spheres of influence across Eo. During such expansions, while still mostly peaceful, they would sometimes clash with other influential individuals who stood in their way. Though Rohen wasn't solely responsible for inviting the Piper into the Circle, the two had clashed in small-scale skirmishes beforehand, which had greatly impressed the Circle Mage.

These tensions reached their high point around the year 50 B.C. with the start of the Convocation Wars - a series of military conflicts between the Circle Mages that caused mayhem and disarray across Eo.

This caused the Circle to fall apart. Using their powerful armies to do battle, they ravaged the lands and became the cause of what they once stood to prevent. It isn't known against which Circle Mages Rohen fought specifically, but this time saw the employment of his [[Orcs|Orkish]] and [[Rune Warriors|Rune]] armies. Though he was a human, Rohen showed a preference for using hordes of Orcs to bolster his ranks - a trademark he had already shown during his skirmishes with the Piper centuries ago.

As the day of the prophecy drew near and the Circle prepared to call upon the slumbering Elements, Rohen patiently awaited inside his tower. He helped steer Rohen back to the right path, bestowing upon him the secrets of the Convocation and opening his eyes to the lie it truly was. Armed with this knowledge, Rohen decided to henceforth use his powers to aid the mending of the broken world he had helped create. He constructed the [[Portals]], established [[the Order of Dawn]] in [[Greyfell]], and thus laid a foundation for the new world to prosper once more.

Around the year 8 A.C., Rohen sent an envoy to an old friend living on the outskirts of the once great city of [[Ankbrand]], [[Tahira]]. She was to recover a [[Phoenix Bearer|special rune]] for him, from within the city's ruins - a task which she reluctantly accepted. Once in his possession, Rohen set out to the [[Shadow Pass]] to summon the warrior, tasking her with seeking out the leader of the Order of Dawn, [[Sartarius]] in [[Greyfell]], before being urged by [[The Messenger|a messenger]] to deal with an [[Iron Ones|emerging thread]] at the [[Wildland Pass]], though before making his way there, he sought out his old friend [[Ereon|Darius Servil]] in [[Liannon]].

Once At the Wildland Pass, Rohen and his bodyguard got separated by an attack of the [[Black Fist]], forcing his men to set up camp and stay behind while he continued his journey deep behind enemy lines - none of whom presented much of a challenge to a mage of his calibre.

Finally arriving at the [[Frost Marshes]], he was called out by the [[Phoenix Bearer]] who had managed to catch up to Rohen in an urgent mission of the Order. She gave him a casket she had acquired from yet another Circle Mage that had allegedly survived [[the Convocation]], though unbeknownst to her, this mage, known as the [[Dark One]], was none other than Rohen himself, albeit much younger, and the casket she had acquired was an elaborate trap meant to get rid of his older self.

Rohen, seemingly aware of this, told the Phoenix Bearer how to proceed. She was to seek out [[Hokan Ashir]] and find an [[Phoenix|artefact]] powerful enough to conquer a mage of the Circle. After giving her [[the Book of the Convocation]], he opened the casket, revealing it to be empty and triggering a trap that froze them both in place. The Dark One appeared, killing Rohen and setting the cycle back in motion.

Though Rohen had died, his grand plan to ensure Eo's future was set in motion - something not even his younger self was aware of at the time - continuing the [[Rohen's Time Loop |cycle]] once more.

Rohen does not play a significant role during the events of the [[Aryn Crysis]], however, the portals he had created are instrumental to the events occurring in the first place.

====Unending nightmare====
7 years after his death at the hands of his younger self, Rohen's resting place was robbed and his corpse reanimated by a now fully revived Hokan Ashir. Hokan used a potion he had created using the essence of a [[Ereon|god]] in his captivity, allowing him to return the dead to true life once more, restoring their full power. This, however, unquestionably bound Rohen to Hokan's will, rendering him a tool in the necromancer's grand plan to merge with the demi-god [[Belial]].

As Hokan's loyal servant, Rohen acted as a general for his undead armies, always at Hokan's beck and call, should he require his assistance. As such, Rohen would ultimately be commanded to lead an army of the dead during a counterattack against the forces of an old friend and ally, the Phoenix Bearer, at the [[Raven Pass]].

After a hard-fought final battle inside the pass' final fortress, Rohen and his army were ultimately defeated by the Phoenix Bearer - in no small part due to Rohen either not having recovered his full strength, or him deliberately not using the power of the [[Allfire]] to give his old friend a fighting chance. Dead once more, Rohen's soul was finally free from Hokan's grasp. Before his final journey to the [[Mor Duine]], he would appear before the Phoenix Bearer, instructing her to combine the Phoenix Stone in her possession with the [[Shadowblade]] of the [[Shadow Warrior]], the hero of the Aryn Crysis kept prisoner by Hokan.

Once his final guidance had been delivered, his soul departed to the River of Souls, flowing amongst its silver waters for the rest of eternity.

Even though he no longer dwells amongst the living, the influence of Rohen's work reaches far, even from beyond the grave. His actions as member of the Circle doomed countless to death and forever shattered the world. However he managed to achieve some measure of redemption during his final years.

His Portal network remains a focal point in ensuring [[Eo]]'s survival. Knowing this, Rohen shared some of his knowledge of portal magic with chosen individuals, ensuring it doesn't fade for good once he's gone.

He also wrote books on the topic, some of which would be studied by [[Professor Twiddle|bright]] [[Nazshar|minds]] trying to recreate his work, for after all of the members of the Circle disappeared from the face of [[Eo]] for good, so did their connection to the Allfire which had been used to fuel the portal network up to that point. However it is also worthy of mention that his knowledge of portals was abused to start the [[Shadow Wars]].

While this means that the world Rohen had created is slowly falling apart, his work and knowledge laid the foundation for the people of [[Eo]] to reunite their world once more - this time using their own power to do so.

Not long after, Rohen summons the Phoenix Bearer in the mountains of the [[Shadow Pass]] and hands her her own rune, thus granting her freedom and allowing her to be the master of her own will.

Though her memories had faded due to her 8-year-long slumber, Rohen urges her to seek out [[Sartarius]], the master of the Order of Dawn, residing in the city of [[Greyfell]]. On her way, she is ambushed by [[the Dark One]], a mysterious hooded figure plotting to kill Rohen. After a failed attempt at her life, she collects a sealed chest the Dark One had left for his messenger and reaches Sartarius in hopes of opening it. They discover that the chest is protected by a powerful seal, only breakable by a Circle Mage, and thus, the Phoenix Bearer is tasked with bringing it to Rohen, who has since departed for the [[Wildland Pass]].

Her journey first takes her to [[Ereon|Darius Servil]], a local scribe in [[Liannon]] whom Rohen often visits on his travels. He tells her more about Rohen's whereabouts, after which she continues through the islands of [[Eloni]], [[Leafshade]] and [[the Shiel]] before finally reaching the Wildland Pass, meanwhile pushing back the hordes of the [[Black Fist]], a mercenary group led by [[Brannigan]] and loyal to the Dark One. With the help of her rune armies, she manages to push through their defences and the Dark One's [[Blades]], finally crossing the portal to the [[Frost Marshes]] and catching up to Rohen.

Their reunion is short-lived, however, for the seal on the chest, she brought him was a trap, encasing them both in ice as they attempted to remove it. The Dark One appears once again, mocking them and killing Rohen, but not before Rohen could advise the Phoenix Bearer on what to do next. She is to seek out [[Hokan Ashir|Hokan's Legacy]] and a [[Phoenix Stone|a way to stop a Circle Mage]].

Defeated and directionless, she returns to Greyfell to bring them the news of Rohen's passing as the forces of light and darkness prepare for war.

====In Search of the Phoenix====

After discussing Rohen's last words with Sartarius, the Phoenix Bearer learns that she must venture into [[the Darklands]] to find the means necessary to stop Rohen's killer. She is advised to first meet with [[Marcia]], an ambassador of the Order in [[Northern Windwall Mountains|Stonewell]], home of the royal house [[Hallit]], to acquire more leads on Hokan. This trail eventually leads her to [[Greydusk Vale]], a border fortress of the Order under the command of [[Urias]]. It is then revealed that while Hokan's body may have perished during the Convocation, his spirit still roams the ruins of [[Whisper]] from whence he commands his [[Undead]] hordes, restlessly searching for the [[Mask of Belial]] that had been stolen from his grave. He tasked one of his most powerful servants, [[Korshar]], with finding it

Despite knowing the dangers involved in dealing with a former mage of the Circle, the Phoenix Bearer has no choice but to find the two parts of the mask as leverage for her demands. She retrieves the part hidden in the fortress by a necromancer by the name of [[Malicor]], before making her way to Korshar who already had one part in his possession. After defeating his forces inside the ruins of the old [[the Iron Falcons|Falcon]] fortress in [[the Howling Mounds]], the Phoenix Bearer traded both parts for a fraction of Hokan's wisdom: to defeat the Dark One's Blades, she must slay the [[Soulforger]], and to find the Phoenix, she must rummage the ruins of [[Mulandir]], the former seat of the Circle.

Arriving in the once greatest pool of knowledge on Eo, she made her way North to where the Archives of the Circle once stood. Amongst them, a former servant of the Circle stood guard over their remaining riches. He could give her the Phoenix, but first, she must pass a trial put before her: to bring back an old artefact of the [[Shapers]] that had been broken and stolen during the turmoil of the Convocation - the [[four time shards]] - and that now lay scattered across the surrounding lands.

Having collected the pieces, the Phoenix Bearer was handed the Phoenix and now had a weapon powerful enough to defeat a mage of the Circle. Armed, she made her way back to Greyfell to discuss the Order's next steps with Sartarius.

====Counterattack====

While she was searching for the Phoenix, the Order made plans to bring the fight to their enemy. Sartarius, together with every combatant of the Order of Dawn, set out to break the enemy's blockade in the Frost Marshes. With haste, the Phoenix Bearer followed suit, but upon her arrival, she found that the Order had paid greatly for this ordeal. They had indeed broken the blockade but at the cost of their lives. Only two of their members survived: Urias, who had been saved by the [[Dark Elves|dark elf]] [[Craig Un'Shallach]], and Sartarius, whom the enemy has taken prisoner. Short on options and time, the Phoenix Bearer pushed forward into the [[Southern Godmark]] where Sartarius was being kept, freeing the master of the Order, yet by doing so, walking into another of the Dark One's traps. Sartarius, too, dies by his hand, while the Phoenix Stone, the ace up their sleeve, gets stolen.

====The Circle Closes====

The Phoenix Bearer nearly escapes her death through the help of Urias and Craig, yet she now finds herself in a desperate position. Filled with anger for the Dark One and the Circle, she nonetheless makes her way to [[Nightwhisper Dale]] where she crosses the great portal to [[Urgath]] to stop the Dark One once and for all. Atop the obsidian mountain in [[Sharrowdale]], she slays the Soulforger and faces her foe for the final time, only to discover that the hooded figure she had been fighting is none other than Rohen himself, albeit a younger version, poised to traveling through time and deciding the outcome of the Convocation for himself.

In shock, she can do nought but watch as Rohen steps through his [[Time Portal]]. At this moment, even though her strife for the Circle burns strong, she realises that she mustn't follow him through, for if she were to stop him now, he would have never been their saviour come the Convocation. She removed the Phoenix Stone from the portal, its frame collapsed, and she disappeared into the unknown knowing that, had she returned it, the people would have only quarrelled to get their hands on such a powerful artefact.

In the year 15 after the Convocation, 7 years after she had last been seen, the Phoenix Bearer had been beckoned by her old friend, Darius Servil, to meet him at [[the Blackwater Coast]]. However, upon her arrival, instead of Darius, all she found was a land ravaged by the undead and a small group of Order troops, led by the ever-vigilant Urias who has tried rebuilding the Order of Dawn in the years following the [[Battle for Fiara]].

Together, they discovered that Darius was tracking down the graves of the deceased Circle Mages, for someone had been desecrating them and stealing their lifeless bodies. The hints the scribe left behind pointed towards the gold city of [[Xu]], [[Empyria]], where they were to search for the [[Dryad of the Life Tree]], as only her assistance could help them face a new danger on the horizon - though reaching her would be no small feat. In their search for ways into her garden, the duo met [[Alyah Arias]], daughter of the ruling emperor, [[Magnus Arias]], once crown princess, now degraded to a thief in the slums of the city.

With Alyah's help, the Phoenix Bearer made her way to the [[Dryad Cove]] and rescued the Dryad from the foul ploys of a [[Hokan Ashir|masked figure]] to rid her of this world. Grateful for their help, she unveiled many secrets to the Phoenix Bearer: she revealed the true identity of Darius to be the Guardian Ereon, unmasked the new threat as the Circle Mage Hokan Ashir, and told of how the latter captured the former in the depths of Zarach's [[Bone Temple]], using his divine blood to resurrect the mages of the Circle under his will. Though Hokan had once died himself, it was the Mask of Belial, brought to him by the Phoenix Bearer herself, that reformed his body and gave him new life.

====An Old Friend====

Taking the Dryad's advice, the Phoenix Bearer set her sights on reaching the [[Uru]], a wise woman of the [[Kathai]] people, a journey that would take her through the deadly [[Red Wastes|land]] of the [[Hazim]], and the undead-infested fortresses of the [[Raven Pass]]. There, atop the highest peaks of the mountains, the Phoenix Bearer and Urias would face the brunt of Hokan's undead forces, sent out to halt their advance. To make matters worse, these forces were spearheaded by none other than Rohen Tahir, the old man murdered at the Frost Marshes, brought back to life under Hokan's sinister will.

Following numerous hard-fought battles and aided by the Kathai, the Phoenix Bearer's forces succeeded in breaking through their ranks. With his soul set free once more, Rohen managed to escape Hokan's grasp, and before being taken to his earned rest at the [[River of Souls]], he revealed how to break the stone harbouring the Phoenix, still in possession of the Phoenix Bearer, to set the being within free and put an end to the Circle for good.

====Shadow Warrior====
Having finally reached the Uru and her people, the Phoenix Bearer was quick to break the ring of besiegers around them - both the Undead and the Imperial troops, led by Emperor Magnus Arias in person. The Uru was saved, though the victory came at a grave cost, for while fighting the Imperials, Urias sacrificed his life to save Alyah from the clutches of the [[Bronze Giant]], yet there was little time to mourn.

While conferring with the Uru, the Dryad sent out her ghost to aid them. Her birds had discovered the blade Rohen spoke of, wielded by a [[Shadow Warrior|damned rune warrior]] whom Hokan held captive. With their efforts combined, they could release the Phoenix, save Ereon, and rid this world of Hokan's evil. The Phoenix Bearer was granted access into the ancient halls of the [[Zerbites]], through which she could cross the [[Darkwind Keep|Darkwind Mountains]] and enter the rotten belly of the [[Black Jungle]] in the south of Xu.
Descending the Mountains to the South, she came face to face with Hokan's elite - Blades of unimaginable strength and fervour, fueled by countless Soulforgers at his beck and call. Against the odds and greatly helped by the Uru's people, she freed the [[Shadow Warrior]] and [[Craig Un'Shallach]]. Exchanging but a few words and united in their hate for what the Circle had done, the Phoenix Bearer and [[Shadow Warrior]] joined forces and crossed the threshold into Hokan's lands, determined to cull his scourge from Eo.

Passing through [[the Gorge]] and defences of the [[Sha]], the Rune Warrior Duo crossed the portal into Zarach's Bone Temple, a place so unholy even the mighty Guardians hold no power on its grounds. For one final time, they summoned their rune armies and pushed onward, through the hordes of Undead, through the deadly blades of the Iron Ones, until reaching the depths of the temple where Ereon had been held.

They freed the God from his chains, uncovering a bitter truth in the process: Hokan wished to use the Circle to merge with [[Belial]], a demi-god servant of Zarach. Should that succeed, releasing the Phoenix would be for nought, for he wouldn't recognise the ones who had captured him centuries prior. The rune warriors made haste. They entered Zarach's throne room and faced the abomination Hokan had become. They could not kill the demi-god, but they managed to interrupt Hokan's transformation. As soon as he returned, they unleashed the Phoenix from its prison. It soared from the skies and destroyed the Circle before disappearing over the horizon.

The Rune Warriors' task had been done - after countless lives and deaths, they had been freed from the tyranny of [[The Circle]].

Following the defeat of Hokan and the Circle, the Phoenix Bearer returned to [[Empyria]], now ruled by [[Alyah]] after the death of her father, to reestablish the Order of Dawn in Urias' memory. It is unknown for how long she retained a leading position within the organization, but it is known that she spread the Order's reach and influence once more, as evident by its presence across [[Fiara]] in the years to follow.

After the power of the rune had dissipated following the Circle's defeat, the Phoenix Bearer wished to live out the remainder of her life in peace, getting rid of all that reminded her of the rune and her servitude under [[the Circle]].

Her current whereabouts are unknown.
